Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 20 minutes mins
Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 2 tbsp EVOO
- 1.5 lbs organic grass-fed beef 93% lean
- 1 medium onion small dice
- 1 medium carrot small dice
- 1 green bell pepper small dice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 tsp Mineral Salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh cracked pepper
- 1 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 1 bottle primal kitchen unsweetened classic bbq sauce
Gather all of your ingredients and wash and chop the vegetables. This will make the cooking process quick and easy!
Heat a large non-stick pan over medium high heat. Add 2 tablespoon of olive oil and swirl around to heat. Add all of the vegetables to the pan. Stir the vegetables around and let the veggies start to cook down for about 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, add in the ground beef and using a wooden spoon, break apart the meat. Season the mixture with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let the beef cook all the way through, this will take about 8 to 10 minutes.
Once the meat is cooked through, add in the tomato sauce, coconut aminos and bbq sauce. Bring the sauce to a gentle boil, then turn the heat down to simmer and let the sauce cook for about 5 more minutes.
