I understand the angst as a parent when your little one falls ill. It’s so tough!
This is why I’ve rounded up all the things we keep on hand and use in our house when my kids get sick. None of this should be taken as treatment advice, nor should it take the place of being evaluated by your pediatrician or other health care professionals.
If you want to learn more about my specific action plans for the most common childhood bugs that might come your family’s way, check out The Ultimate Illness Guide for Kids. I share all the details on dosages, supplements I love, and step-by-step lifestyle hacks. I recommend having this on hand to feel the peace in knowing that you’ll never be without a plan!

More Tips!
I have a few last tips that make pediatric dosing so much easier. Children’s supplement dosages are always based on age and/or weight. But when a dosage is not specific, I use Clark’s Rule to determine my child’s dosing based on his/her weight. Clark’s Rule uses the following formula:
(Child’s weight divided by 150 lbs.) x Adult Dose = Pediatric Dosage
You can use this calculator to make it easy: Pediatric Dosage Calculator
If you want supplements that can work for the whole family, consider TDW supplements. A lot of the capsules you can open and sprinkle into smoothies, oatmeal, etc. if your little one isn’t big on swallowing pills. As always, check with your provider before starting a new supplement or giving it to your children.
