Total Time 10 minutes mins
Wet Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp grass-fed butter melted
Optional Add-Ins
- Swap the vanilla TDW protein powder for chocolate TDW protein powder! (check it out!)
- sliced bananas, blueberries, or dairy-free chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center to add in the wet ingredients. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg with a fork. Add in the banana and smash with the back of the fork. Next, whisk in the almond milk until well combined.
Slowly drizzle the wet ingredients into the well of the dry ingredients. Lastly, drizzle in the melted grass-fed butter. You do not want to miss this step! The butter gives the pancakes the perfect smooth consistency and an overall better pancake texture.
Over medium heat, melt a few tablespoons of grass-fed butter onto your griddle or large non-stick pan. You don't want your pan too hot. Using a medium-sized soup ladle or 1/4 measuring cup, pour batter onto the pan. Let the pancakes cook for about 3 minutes or until little bubbles form around the edges and on top. Flip and cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh fruit and pure organic maple syrup. Enjoy!
